So, I was not a big fan of the park but, my wife bought a dolphin experience on groupon for her and our son. They paid 80 each from groupon for this event. It includes a annual pass and 30 minute session with a trainer and dolphin. Since they received an annual pass, I bought a annual adult pass (60.00)... More

Of all the places we visited on our recent trip to Miami (Vizcaya, Everglades, Fairchild gardens) the Seaquarium was by far the most expensive and the least interesting attraction. Even with the online discounts, the price was exorbitant - and there were countless employees badgering us to buy extra pictures of ourselves, or purchase extra "encounters". The couple of shows... Hi Mike, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, as a Seaquarium, we do have to charge a fee to help care of all the animals we care for. Some of the turtles you saw look a bit "grungy" as they were rescued and rehabilitated, unfortunately, some had such bad accidents that they do look grungy at times. We... More

I love aquariums, so when I went to Miami, I made listing the Seaquarium a top priority. It ended being a bit of an odd experience. it has a sort of run down and sad feel to it. Many of exhibits were sparse and probably too small for the animals (an exception for the gator swamp area). There were a... More

We planned to stay the whole day at the Seaquarium, however there wasn't that much to do. The Top Deck dolphin show was good, and we learned more about manatees. The best part for me was the seal swim. I would recommend doing this, it was very fun and a good learning experience.

Hi AFG1994, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, the seal swim is also a favorite of mine and recommend everyone to experience it. We do offer a number of shows for our guests to enjoy, an interactive area with our stingrays and are working on new initiatives this year. We do hope that you visit us again in... More

No matter how interesting the Seaquarium exhibits, there is a pall of sadness over the entire facility. I think workers are unable to ignore the unhappiness of their captive mammals, Lolita and the dolphins, and are embarrassed by it.

Hi DreamGypsy, I'm sorry to read your review, our animals are very well kept, fed, and loved; especially by their trainers who have deep connections with them as they are continuously with them. We are not embarrassed by the education we offer our guests and the rescuing and rehabilitation we do. We also give people one in a lifetime experiences... More

On our last day in Miami we spend some hours in the Seaquarium, we had some fun strolling around and got some shows (Dolphins, Orca, Manatees),

This was our first time visiting and I thought the place was going out of business. A lot of the vendors were closed or boarded up, some of the shows were closed and it was a ghost town. We went on a Friday so maybe it's just busy on the weekends. For the price you pay to get in I... More

To be totally honest, I wasn't impressed at all. Its not a very big place and it costs a small fortune to get in. Even the guy in our hotel told us not to bother, and if we hadn't already got tickets for a dolphin encounter we would have taken his advice and not gone. The dolphin show was good,... More
