Great family State Park

At the very end of the main drag through Key Biscayne. Very nice facilities here, with lots of space. Feels very safe.

Went with my family las weekend and loved it! I was roller blading with my cousins, we made a picnic and had dinner there! Amazing time for my holidays :) can't wait to come back. The only thing I didn't like was the long line we had to do to get it. But it totally worth it!

If you like nature ,specially if you like history, this park you should see in your visit. Great light house, a lot of history in the park. To get there you go thru Crandon Park and Key Biscayne. Crandom park has public beaches and is the place where Miami's old zoo was. They have made the old zoo into a... More

AWESOME public beach so close to the city - there are umbrellas and chairs for rent. We went here after getting after a cruise.. it was an awesome spot. Clean restrooms/changerooms and a great restaurant.

After you cross the Rickenbacker causeway ($2 toll) and drive through the town of Key Biscayne, you will reach Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. It is $8/car to get in. The highlight of this park is the large beach and large parking area. The beach doesn't face the city of Miami, so it feels secluded and far away from... More

Don't miss this one if you have the opportunity. It is only $8 per car and $4 for a single. It has a great beach and walking path to the historic lighthouse with scenic views. The 106 steps to the top of the lighthouse is fairly easy. Bring water. Iguanas abound in the rocks on the west side, with views... More

We were touring Key Biscayne and went out to this park to see the lighthouse. There is a nice beach and a very good old lighthouse. The area is good for just walking around and taken in the sights. There is a lot of wildlife in the area, particularly raccoons.

Very enjoyable either the beach or the bicycle ride through the park, a pleasure to be there. Have a picnic and have fun you can see in the distance Miami beach or stiltsville in the distance.

I didn't have a car in Miami. From Miami Beach, I used public transit to go down to this park on Key Biscayne. If you have a smartphone, download the Miami-Dade Transit App, it can save you a lot of hassle. There's a bus line that serves the Key and ends at the entrance to the state park. From there,... I cycled from Downtown Miami to this Park and it was so worth it. This is a small Park with picnic areas, safe swimming, a water side restaurant, great views and amazing wildlife. During my visit I saw a raccoon, various lizards and birds, and then, at the tip of Cape Florida by the lighthouse and opposite 'Stiltsville' (a collection... More
