There was a fairly strong current the day we visited

It wasn't the best visibility or calmest day when we went, so we didn't stay too long, but it was interesting to see.

Had a great day out at the John F Pennicamp Park. Great place to explore and the snorkelling and glass bottom boat trip for the family to out to the reef where the Christ of the Deep Statue lies were amazing.

Our crew from Keys Diver took us to see this and it was amazing to see! The water was rough that day but we still had a wonderful time!

I read all reviews trying to decide which snorkeling excursion to go with as there are so many outfits that cater to snorkeling in Key Largo. We started with the catamarans at the Sheraton and they were great but you can not keep going to the same place over and over! Plus we wanted to go get the "statue" thing... More

Because I have some Cressi gear its interesting to see what the company founder put his money in to. The statue is interesting to see, its covered with sponges and growth, perhaps it needs to be kept cleaned off. On close observation there appears to be a green sponge on the lip that looks like a canker sore. In several... More

We are a family of divers, so when family from California came to visit, we thought this would be a fun stop in the boat. We had never been before, and we live here in the keys. This is a beautiful site, clear water lot of fish too. Even if u don't dive, you can still clearly enjoy this trip!... More

This is in a shallow reef. Easy for snorkelers. Has been covered with fire coral for several years. So if you want a religious experience, go give it a kiss or a hug! (Just kidding -please don't do that)

I have heard about the Christ of the Deep statue for many years but only recently had the opportunity to visit it personally. What a great experience! It is surrounded by large heads of Coral that can be explored like a fantasy forest. High recommend this experience.

We went on a snorkeling tour through Pennekamp state park. We went out on the dolphin to see the reefs. This was an amazing site for all!
