This place attracts all kinds so find a special spot under the pines and enjoy yourself. We rented snorkeling gear and had a great experience seeing all sorts of sea life.

Fort Zachary Taylor has the admission fee it has been really nice beaches and can also fish their also it is a nice place to hold a wedding for your future life it is a very scenic spot the only negative thing about this place...More

The Fort is a state park so there's a nominal entrance fee but both beautifully maintained beaches and a cool historical fort complete with cannons and soldiers living quarters make it well worth the fee. Dating back to the civil war, there's a cool walking...More

Cleaner than Higgs beach. Cost was 2.50 a person on a bike. Shady picnic areas right near the beach. Pretty water, quieter and more picturesque than Higgs.

If you want an umbrella with your chairs, go early. It's $30 for 2 chairs and a umbrella and they have designated spots for them. We were there at 9am and picked our spot before they opened. Bring water shoes, there is alot... More

Yes, you can see fish, but not as many as on the snorkeling tours. But for the inexpensive price, there are a good number of fish to be seen.
