We enjoyed this area but think it is best described as a place to have a drink and buy souvenirs. There were at least 3 skin cream companies that wait for you to walk by to try a sample. When you show disinterest they still keep talking, some even were a little nasty. I think this was the biggest disappointment... More

Duval Street is definitely the heart of Key West. You can find just about everything there - great restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries, ice cream/yogurt stands and so on. There's an endless number of places to pop in to and enjoy. You don't have to have an exact purpose when you visit. Just walk up and down the street and... More

Duval street is a very tacky place - you can stand it once but more than that no. It's like Times Square or Vegas. The southern part is quiet and nicer but the main drag is a carnival with bars, noise the smell of vomit from the drinkers and lots of young people partying ...

I love this street with all the shops. Everything is different. It has amazing art galleries and shops with products I have never seen before. I certainly will recommend that you buy some swimsuits. At least for girls, they have an amazing variety and with styles that are not easily seen anywhere else. The art grows everywhere, and I really... More

Lots of bars and restaurants, mixed in with some interesting shopping. Great fun to walk up and down this street. Went during the day. Can see this being a great spot for adults at night.

Southernmost end of Duval is quite, filling with quant restaurants and more "art" related shopping. Don't miss this end. The other end has lots of tourist type shopping, pubs and restaurants filled with live music.

A noisy street of loud drunks at night. By day a nice shopping/dining experience. Parking may be difficult to find.
