Do it! This is a great aquarium that doesn't take even a half day of your vacation to tour. There are interactive petting and feeding shows. Sweet people working hard to spread the word about conservation. Support their efforts and learn some cool stuff in the meantime.

If you had the opportunity to visit other aquariums, you'll probably be frustrated with this one. Decadent aspect and not so many species.

My parents took my 4 and 10 year olds here and they really enjoyed themselves. Of course its a smaller aquarium, but the tours and exhibits were very cool.

This is by far the worst aquarium we have ever been in. Which is totally counterintuitive because it sits right on the ocean and you would think that their exhibits would be professional and plentiful.....which they are absolutely not. It appears to have been built in the early fifties and nothing has changed. There aren't a lot of exhibits and... More

I was sorry to read that your tour with us did not meet your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Our aquarium content is restricted to species of fish indigenous to the Florida Keys only. We are constantly adding to and updating our exhibits, freshening paint and decor where possible. Desperately in need of an update. Many exhibits not there, a limited number of tanks you could walk around in ten minutes and see everything. A very disappointing venue not worth the entry fee.

We left here feeling a bit sorry for the sea turtles, who are 'kept' in a small pen with very little stimulation. While they are damaged from some boat traffic, I see no reason for the sorry location... there is a turtle rescue center elsewhere in the Keys, I believe, that has a lovely large location (and other hurt and... You need to set your expectations for this aquarium to the right level. This is a very small aquarium and good for a short visit. As a day guest to key west coming off a cruise ship It was a nice choice for our family. My 12 year old wasn't that interested but also wasn't complaining. My younger boys (age... More

Had all your average little glass aquariums with different species of fish. The sea horse one was very fun to see. Had some hands on where you could touch and see from the pool. Out side had some sharks to watch. Again, small but average place to go visit.
