You can’t miss this red brick building! It’s more the noticeable since it’s bigger then most houses/buildings in Key West. Very interesting displays, we particularly liked the “Henry Flagler” railroad epic, what an undertaking, building a railroad across the Florida Keys.

This place was a nice quiet place to get a little history and get out of the sun. We learned a little about Key West and saw a lot of interesting exhibits.

We stumbled upon this place but we’re glad we did. Particularly the railroad presentation was interesting and extremely well presented. The lady at the front desk was very polite. It’s a beautiful building as well.

We have visited with 3 teenage kids. It is a easy and enjoyable palace to browse and learn some fun facts about Key West and it’s significant characters. Great collection and a perfect location.

Yes! You'll be thoroughly immersed in the Old Man and the Sea vis a vis the pen and ink drawings that line the walls of the interior staircase. A room or two is dedicated to his time there, too. Enjoy!
