We tried to book the seaplane, but it was full. So we took Yankee Freedom III and decided that we are glad it turned out that way. The cruise was relaxing and we had a lot of time to take in the views. Even saw...More

This is something everyone should do in their lifetime. The Yankee Fredom (YF) and Fort Jefferson staff are top notch. The boat is big enough to be comfortable in moderate seas, fast enough to get you out there in a short amount of time, and...More

My girlfriend and I had long wanted to see Fort Jefferson and last November we had a friend getting married in Atlanta, so decided to make a longer trip out of it. We spent about a week and a half on our journey from Atlanta,...More

Everything has already been said, the crew of the Yankee Freedom is great! Fort Jefferson is an amazing place (kinda scary and beatiful) totally worth the money (still almost 600$ for a family of four). Two things must be mentionned : - pack your dramamine!...More

We really wanted to see the Dry T's while in Key West. The Yankee Freedom seemed like the perfect mode of transportation for us. They instruct you to be at the dock by 7:00 am. That was way to early. There is absolutely no need...More

The crew was humorous and helpful from the first moment when you check in. I've been three times since I moved here in October because I bring everyone that visits! The island and tours were fantastic. Overall one of my favorite key west activities!

Everything was run and executed perfectly. The crew was awesome; super friendly, kind, and helpful. Water was a little rough, but the boat handles it great! I can't stress how efficient everything was with the crew. They do an awesome job. And Tom's beard is...More

We encountered bad weather in the keys and called to cancel the trip at 12:00 the day before. I voiced my concerns about the weather and my kids. I was told it was too late to cancel by the staff and we went anyway. The...More

I have never been when it was crowded. This is the only company that is allowed to ferry people to Fort Jefferson. There are 200 plus sits on the vessel but it is never to capacity. Once you get to the island, you hardly... More

Entirely free to do your own thing. The only thing you'll want to pay attention to is the hours they serve lunch. The snorkeling is directly from the beach and honestly it's not very good.
