This is a self touring "museum". There is plenty of material to read, all of which is very interesting. I only wish it were more of a guided museum with interactive guides. I for one believe it would be worth investigating. Regardless, loved the material and would recommend to anyone wanting to know about about the cigar industry and early beginnings of key West.

Not open to the public, but instead a B&B operating under the Southernmost Guest House. I would recommend it as it is a pretty good value for the price.

This historic building was originally built in 1871 and was used as a thriving cigar factory. It burnt in 1915 and was rebuilt from 1916-1920. Interesting collection of cigar factory memorabilia, including a large collection of cigar labels. Art exhibits are held throughout the buiding which is now used by municipal agencies. We were fortunate to see the Richad Kemble - "A Sense of Place" art exhbit during our visit. This building is a treasure and is very well kept.

beautiful building filled with art installations from local artists. Not the usual tourist trap you will find on Duval

Title says it all. Building is a city office building and the Cigar "museum " consists of some posters and pictures. Spent more time locking and unlocking the bikes than we did in the building
