Lovely nature walk through the Mangroves

This place is really cool. Parts of the walkway is under reconstruction and repair so this is the only reason I give it a 3-star, otherwise it's a 5-star. Mother Nature always... read more

This beach is unique in it long sand trail during low tie. Beach park also has gazebos with barbecue areas. It is also pet friendly, which is a plus for pet owners.

Nice place to play, watch wildlife and wade in the sea. Never too crowded and clean. Nice beach with no fees.

This place is really cool. Parts of the walkway is under reconstruction and repair so this is the only reason I give it a 3-star, otherwise it's a 5-star. Mother Nature always gets five stars, mankind just needs to catch up. Walking through here you could literally forget the road, the cars, and civilization. So peaceful. And yes, we saw... More

We made a quick stop here on our way down to key west. We wind was up and the water choppy the day we stopped. The water was warm but very cloudy. We stopped because we had heard that you could find small octopus in the grass beds if you waded out. There is a nice boardwalk and is probably... More

Very muddy smelly and small. A short board walk that is over grasslands is more like nature center than a beach.

We did not see a beach The tide was high and only wood walk ways. Lots of mosquitos did have picnic tables on little jut outs but the mosquitos were too bad to stop and relax.

Its an inexpensive place for us to take our little dog for a swim. He loves to play in the water & pet friendly. Its also a good place for us to do a little fishing while we have lunch...

Very nice view, clean with all the needed amenities. Parking is kinda small but thats what make it not too crowed, and allows you to enjoy it so much more. I gave it a average review because is just about the same as any beach area you find along the keys.

This is a beautiful location located on lower matecumbe. It has two small parking lots which are typically full. The "beach" is usually underwater. The sand is rocky and can be hard on your feat. The area does have a picturesque wooden walkway. Again, this a a beautiful spot but not really a beach.

Stopped while we were in the area and walked the boardwalk very serene and pretty. It has a small beach but very nice and the water is clear. The birds are amazing along the water and the walk.
