Anne's beach is a nice little slice of the Keys. Very shallow water allows you to walk extremely far from shore. Some of the area is sandy bottom & squishy muck but most of it is... read more

Nice for a day trip if you want a keys beach close by. Some sand, some muck, lots of turtle grass. Good to chill, and there's a walkway to get to where you want to go.

We pulled into Anne's Beach and at first was a little disapointed, but as soon as we got out of the car and started walking around my disappointment vanished into awe. The beach is not a typical beach, but the water is shallow and warm, lots of nature and things to do and show the kids. More fun than just... More

This place was gorgeous... You could walk out into the water for miles. I had my (very young at the time) daughter with me and she sat in the water and played around. It was just too beautiful for words to describe, you must see... it was better than driving all the way to the bottom in my opinion!

Anne's beach is a nice little slice of the Keys. Very shallow water allows you to walk extremely far from shore. Some of the area is sandy bottom & squishy muck but most of it is grass flats. Some sea life to observe but this is really just a spot to swim and tan. There are limitation to what is... More

if you want to unwind here is the place to go, nice warm water. Good parking, you can walk right into the ocean for miles at knee high water. Amazing

Shallow with no waves. My son played finding Hermit crabs and other critters. Parking is very limited, get here early or late in the day

Not much of a beach. Yes, dog friendly, but a leashed German Shepherd lunged at my son and caught his swimsuit, owner said nothing. No sand, maybe we came at high tide? shallow sandy area, no waves, probably great for little kids to cool off, but I recommend staying at your hotel pool. Very little parking.

A nice location off of the overseas highway there are two small car parks joined by a boardwalk. Luckily we found a spot as someone was leaving as we arrived This was a nice walk and we watched people kite surfing.

This would be a great place to bring chairs and spend the day or take a break and stretch your legs on your drive down to Key West. It's a beautiful beach and has a nice, elevated walk way with picnic tables.

Admittedly public sandy beaches are a rarity in this area of the Keys. However, it is small, crowded, and has hardly any parking - we tried to take a look and stay but were beaten off by the opposition.
