I have been wanting to visit Bok Tower Gardens since before Christmas. But it was not to be, until now... Spring! What an amazing time my Husband, stepDaughter and I enjoyed today. Prior to arriving, I bought a Duo Membership ($55) as I want to go more than once, and I figured putting money towards this beautiful garden was a... More

Edward Bok merged conservation, music and gardens in this gem of a spot in Lake Wales, Florida. It cannot officially be called a "botanical garden" but it is one. The Tower is a beautiful bell tower where gifted musicians perform concerts daily. You can sit by the tower and watch the musician play or you can hear music throughout the... More

This a don't miss attraction in central Florida. Yes, it is kind of off the beaten path but very well worth the effort to get there. One of the mort peaceful places on earth!. Thank-you Edward Bok for your vision! The garden, tower and pinewood estates is truly a gem.

The azaleas were a little passed their peak (late February/early March would have been better), but the landscaping is still fantastic. For those who may have a little trouble walking, take the shuttle to the tower and then walk the gardens downhill back to the visitor's center. Be sure and take time to review the museum inside the visitor's center.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit through this garden... The grounds are beautiful and the docents at the Pinewood Estate are superb. For NON locals... beware of your GPS.... we drove around in circles and almost gave up.... follow local signs if possible NOT your GPS.....

Driving to the Plant city Strawberry Festival, we took the scenic route through Lake Wales so that we could visit the Bok Gardens in time for the carollier's performance. Peaceful is the best words to describe this place. Beautiful well kept and a happy place. Restaurant on site but we packed a picnic lunch and ate at the tables provided.... More

Wonderful place to visit. The grounds are manicured beautifully, the reflection pond is absolutely Beautiful, and the Tower is incredible. If you're lucky enough you'll be able to attend one of the special events they host. Enjoy!

Beautiful gardens and bell tower. Nice relaxing place. Walk the gardens, tour the house, get info on the local history of the area and Florida. Listen to the bell concerts and let your stress melt away. Nice cafe and gift shop also.
