Rode the camels!

Great experience with my step-daughter and niece. It was on her buckett list to ride a camel. I would take the jeep next time. Take the camel if you are used to riding horses.

Took the safari bus. It was right around a 2 hour trip. This place specializes in hoofed animals so they have mostly deer, cows, zebras, buffalo, etc. sectioned off by the region the animals are from (asia/africa) Many of the animals come right up to the bus. Emily is an excellent guide who shares her love and knowledge of all... More

This was a much better experience than I thought it would be and well worth the money. The hosts were knowledgeable and friendly. Trip through the park was great, we had a small party of only 5 and had very personalized attention. Were able to feed the animals, even touch them and some tried to get in the vehicle for... More

Again, if you love animals, this is the place to go! Awesome experience and the educational information provided by the staff is spot on. They answer all questions and are just as kind to the visitors (humans) as they are to all of their residents! Sonya & Michael

Laugh if you will but I did not want to go. It was the wife's idea so we compromised and we went. We had a great time and it could not have been better. The second we walked in we were greeted with a smile. We looked around and looked at what animals were there first and were greeted by... More

Just ok - said there would be a snack and drink and it was over two hours and I was thinking it would be three hours .. 75.00 a ticket I expected more and more animals was a nice family day but feel like the price was to high for what you got .

Make your reservations early as excursion books up fast, even during the week. I am in my 30s and was accompanied by my mom whom is in her 60s. We did the safari truck, followed by 10 minute camel ride, and feeding lemurs. We both loved the safari truck as we got to feed so many animals (which is something... More

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Our staff works hard to make sure that the animals (and the people who come to visit them) are cared for and happy. You're absolutely right about making reservations in advance! At Safari Wilderness, we limit the number of people who visit each day. It works better that way for the animals,... More

We're so happy to hear you had such a wonderful time! Aren't the lemurs just the sweetest?? Many of our guests love that Safari Wilderness is conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando, even though it feels like you're in Africa. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city life is a very refreshing experience! We hope you'll come... More
