We went on the standard truck safari and were so very impressed by this facility. They have spared no expense in creating a wonderful environment for all of the animals they house. All of the animals look well-fed and well-cared for. The cages were immaculately clean. The staff were extremely knowledgeable. Our favorite part was feeding the adorable lemurs (extra... More

We had a lot of fun on the safari and if I were rating the safari alone I would have given 5 stars. As others have said the animals are VERY well cared for. You can see they are all happy and healthy. Even the ones that don't get treats from human hands are friendly and curious coming right up... More

Having been to the Giraffe Ranch in Dade City, a sister attraction, many times, I was interested in checking out this venue. I was not disappointed. I felt transported to another world as we saw animals grazing in open fields; heard a horny camel bellow his intentions; fed friendly llamas and enjoyed so many more impromptu experiences that animals provide.... Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. We had an amazing amount of information given to us by a person who obviously cared a great deal about the animals. Learnt a lot about each animal and it was great being able to be so close to the animals and feed them. Wasn't too impressed with the llama who spat at me when trying... More

If you want to have a fun unique experience I highly recommend Safari Wilderness Ranch. It's a great value and the staff is friendly, patient and very well informed. The animals are spectacular, Don't pass up the opportunity to feed the Lemurs. They are sweet and so gentle. This was the best animal encounter experience to date.

We really enjoyed the African plains animals. Feeding Lemurs was our biggest hit. Who new feeding a herd of Guinee Pigs could be so much fun..

We started the day with a 10 minute camel ride...well worth it. We spent the next several hours on a guided (multi-person) tour of the entire grounds, seeing many wild animals, all of which were herbivores, many of which we both fed and petted. They do not have any carnivores and are not very "touristy"...so bring your own food, if... More
