A pleasant walk through cypress, life oak, and flowers of all sorts adorned with spanish moss. The birds are wonderful, and very unafraid. We got lots of pictures, and were enchanted by the many views of all kinds of southern nature.

This is a great place to spend time. Nice walking trails and a lot of wild life, especially birds. I took a friend from out of state so he could see some alligators. We weren't disappointed. We returned a couple of times during his stay.

Why does one of the lake piers have to be closed off?? We walked like 2 miles to get to the lake, only to be greeted by a locked "no tresspassing" sign on the only pier in sight...

This is a great place to see nature in Florida. Nice visitor center but they are closed on Mondays. One of the most active gator populations in central Florida. Do not let their lazy appearance fool you. These gators are faster than humans. People feel...More
