The only good thing about this beach is that there is plenty of parking. Very narrow beach, plenty of seaweed and not much to do. Lake Worth Beach just 5 minutes north is much, much better.

we were driving around in the area looking for a beach to spend a couple of hours. For lack of patience we parked in the parking area (parking is plentiful) and headed down the dune to this beach. Positives: 1. Clean Restrooms 2. Lots of shells for collecting 3. A restaurant and bar overlooking the ocean. Negatives: 1. Very small... More

Beach reviews are important to me, that's why I'm writing this, and if it matters to you, you'll appreciate hearing from a fellow beach critic. So...it's a tiny, little slice of beach and if you're looking for a lot of space and the typical southeastern FL beach, this is not it. The water is kind of pretty, but maybe not... More

Living in the proximity of the beach I use to make a early morning stroll on the beach nearly every day except during the high tide, when the narrow strip is in some places closed by waves. It is lovely to observe life of the birds. In June-July it is especially interesting to watch the traces of crawling turtles, when... More

There is ocean with seaweed and jelly fish that can be reached by going down a lot of stairs. The sand is tan/brown not the lovely white I have become accustomed to in Florida. No restrooms.

There is no charge for the beach, though parking costs $2/hour. We were able to walk from our our accommodation and enjoyed the stroll on the beach, watching the gulls and sanderlings. It's a pretty narrow strip but the ocean is a beautiful blue and I love walking in the sand and listening to waves. It's not somewhere I would... More

We were by the Dune Deck and there is only a narrow spit of sand left. Only thing you could really do there is surf.

While the clouds hid the sun for the first 20 minutes after the "official" sunrise time, we wandered south a bit within our own little private world until the sun peeked out. This beach is less crowded than Lake Worth and therefore more enjoyable. A good choice!
