What a wonderful idea! I believe this trail goes from downtown near St. Pete all the way north up to Spring Hill area. I have lived worked and rented many places near this trail. It's a wonderful back way through towns and hamlets. Some of the places there are fun little shops to stop that and get a bite to... More

My Dog Sampson and I go walking on the trail once or twice a week, We absolutely love the beauty and the serenity when we are there. We see folks walking, biking, skate boarding, jogging, what ever it take to get out and enjoy this beautiful glorious trail.

This trail is one of Pinellas County's greatest gift to all those who I mentioned above. You can travel the whole length of the county on this trail and now they have cross country trails as well. I have met people from all over the country who have come to bike this trail.

I use this trail for riding to and from work, I use this trail to meet friends to ride to breakfast on weekends, I use this trail to get to great parks. It is shady for the hot days of summer, and It seems to be safe to me, but like anything be vigilant if dark or getting dark.

We tend to enter the trail at Taylor Park in Largo on 8th Street as public restrooms are handy and parking is usually pretty easy especially on a week day. Weekends can be busier but still has never been a problem. The trail is a bit of a hodge podge as it snakes thru Clearwater and traffic can be busy... More

The trail is the perfect place for bicycles. Keep safe and avoid having to share the road with trucks, buses, and automobiles. Great for walking and jogging as well. If you ride a bike or walk/run for exercise and or pleasure then the Pinellas Trail is where you belong!

This trail is well maintained and runs north and south through Pinellas County for close to 40 miles. It is great for biking and running / walking. Be careful crossing roads in more populated areas, as cars can sometimes barrel on over the trail.
