Great selection of gear, both to purchase and rent. And the brothers Steve and Brian were really knowledgeable, helpful and generous with their time educating me on product differences. I also really like the convenience of having classes on site and the variety of diving...More

I highly recommend Lizbeth “Liz” Espejo Frenier for dive lessons. Her ability to instruct and encourage new divers, and in our case young divers, made the PADI Open Water Certification for my two teenagers an excellent experience. The day my kids did their beach dive...More

My husband and I completed our advanced open water certification and Nitrox certification with Liz while we were in town over the long-weekend. Liz was a great, knowledgable instructor. We rented all of our gear from the shop and it was clean and very well...More

We went as a family and boy, was it worth it. The reef isn't anything spectacular, but our guide WAS! I would definitely go back on our next trip!

Don’t even consider getting your OW certification with Gold Coast Scuba / Brad unless you are already a pro! Corners are cut and company’s barbecue is more important for Brad, the trainer than meeting the basic PADI course requirements of five confined (he offered two)...More

Can someone please layout how the shore diving or meetups work. We are staying at the Sea Spray Inn near Anglins pier and Gold Coast Scuba but this is our first time to LBTS and shore diving so I'm not sure of the logistics. exp: dive boats/ MN lake diving mostly Do we need to rent a car just to transport gear from the hotel and shop to the beach? Or a car just to store ones gear bag etc while diving? though we might be able to suit up and hump it all from the hotel. Do tanks need to be reserved ahead of time or picked up the night before? or are they readily available? We have our own gear so I'm assuming once we secure tanks and are rsvp'd for a meet up we just show up at the listed time/place and plan the dive unless of course its a paid boat dive. Any advice would be appreciated as we want to make the most of our 5 days Thanks- TJ
