There are lots of people fishing. Nothing else to do but soak up some sun and look at the ocean. Met a pelican. No need to go more than once

I stayed in Fort Lauderdale for 3 days and 4 night and spent SEVERAL hours daily on the pier. My last day in Fort Lauderdale, I spent about 4 hours total out there while reading, meeting people, etc. I had never been charged at a pier before but the $2 was worth it considering I don't have the option to... All things considered, it's hard for me to be objective about Anglin's. I've been fishing at the pier since 1965, when I landed my first red snapper, and it's full of wonderful memories. I brought my wife here in 1985 on our honeymoon. To this day, we still sit in the same outside booth with beautiful north and east views... More

Reasonably decent for fishing. Not too dirty, reasonably staffed, -- heck, its a fishing pier. Bring heavy enough rods however - little rods or light lines wont work here

Nice spot to either fish or just hangout !!! Great view of all beach activities and the highlight was being able to watch air and sea show during the weekend while i was there.

Not a lot going on of interest unless you are a fisherman. Fairly miserable guy taking the money, honestly, if I could go again I would give the pier a miss.

I was really surprised that there was an admissions fee to walk on the pier. It was $2 and allowed us unlimited entry until 2 am (but how many times do you need to go on the pier in a day?) It was still nice and romantic and offered great views of the shoreline / beach.

Great food and great views. Music on the day we went was great and not too loud. Would recommend the Gyro platter - amazing.
