We love this beach, having first found it in 1992 when our daughter was just four and a half, we continue to visit as often as we can. (She still loves it as well). Good parking, easy access, beach lifeguards with all the relevant watchtowers...More

This is a really nice public beach. Plenty of parking. was there on a weekend and the beach was not very crowded. Snack bar food was good for what it was but a little pricey.

Always good to come here. Life guard stations all along the beach. Parking is plentiful, under the Australian Pines, close to the water & not too crowded. Working on a new pier at North end. South end has place for food. Ideal for locals &...More

Stopped here early on a Saturday. We shopped the market first. They had all kinds of things for sale. We ended up purchasing a few jars of the best jelly we had ever tasted. After shopping we headed out to the beach. We walked in...More

One of the best beaches in Florida! The sand is extremely white and soft, beach water is very clear and warm. They have bathrooms and places to wash off. Can't wait until our next visit!

The beach itself is beautiful. They have a restroom and place to wash off. They also have areas to have a picnic and lots of parking. My husband even got to do a little bit of fishing. Gorgeous area overall.

Great beach to visit. Came over Memorial weekend and hung out with friends. Wasn't to busy with people and the fact that you have the option to be in shade or full sun is a major plus. Would definitely come back and hang out.

We stayed the month of January and the only activity we saw that looked gang related was squirrels. No, seriously, we felt totally safe in that area. We walked there approximately a dozen times without incident.

At least two hours - if not longer. This beach is on the south end of Anna Maria Island - which is a good 45-60 minutes from I-75.
