This is a nice park, the boardwalk is well maintained and you get to see a tree that's almost 2,000 years old which is pretty exciting. It is disappointing at the senator the 3500 year old tree was burned down. This is still a nice...More

The trees, of course, were something to see. Nice interpretive trail. Lots of people in and out of the parking lot, but not many on the trail. Worth the stop if you are in the area, visiting Wekiwa Springs.

So sad that this unique park no longer has "The Senator"-Florida's oldest and largest cypress tree. I nice place to bring the family for an afternoon walk or picnic.

I used to visit the park often until a druggie burned down The Senator. The park is nice for picnics, walks and viewing a little history.

Being a huge fan and nature lover of trees seeing this duo has been on my bucket list. Even with the charred remains of the Senator, it was worth the drive to see these magnificent giants. Can you think of any other living thing that...More

Short boardwalk to see a burned relic of a cypress tree and another large cypress; interesting for a nature lover, but uber-boring for most people; kids will be more interested in the playground equipment than the boardwalk! The most redeeming factor is the parking and...More
