The "Pass", as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane on September 27, 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

Perfect place as a local to bring out of town visitors. Has bars, restaurants, water activities, and shopping. The parking is pretty easily accessible. Gets packed on the weekend. Has festivals and markets throughout the year.

My wife and strolled the boardwalk on a beautiful afternoon. Discovered really good salt water taffy at the World’s Best Taffy. It lives up to it’s name.

Great location to see dolphins, watch fishing boats, etc, eat lunch or dinner and shop. We Enjoyed the whole atmosphere. Would recommend the Boardwalk Grill. Great Club sandwiches or Phillys.

John’s Pass is a great place to visit for many reasons. A bite to eat, drinks, souvenir shopping, catch a dolphin cruise or pirate cruise or a walk in the boardwalk. It has something for everyone.

Two cones and a milk shake was $24 50 RIP OFF. Do not support this family business. No prices listed.
