The "Pass", as locals refer to it, was created by a hurricane on September 27, 1848. A pirate, John Levique, made the first passage through the newly created pass. Hence the name, Johns Pass. Located on the waterfront at Johns Pass, this quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village is Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing.

Love this place and always have. It never gets old to me. The shops are unique and fun and there's so many places to eat and drink. The wine store is great. Free wine tastings and frozen wine. The chocolate wine is fun to try.

We enjoyed shopping the stores as we headed towards the boardwalk. Parking was easy and there were ample spots available while we were there. There are plenty of restaurants (mostly... More

Neat place to hang out for awhile...favorite spot is Mad Beach Mini Donuts for some tasty donuts and fresh Lemonade. Better weather would've been nice but no big complaints...it was about 50 degrees warmer than back home.

John's Pass is so much fun. A mix of restaurants, attractions and shops. Some of the shops are touristy but most are really nice. Truly, something for everyone! Couple things to know. All parking will cost you, so bring change or a credit card. If you are near the SunCoast trolley take that to Madeira Beach for $1.00. Parking on... More

Something for Everyone! Choices on shopping and many restaurants. Walk along the waterway or just hang on the beach. We were lucky enough to see a group of manatees travel under the bridge. Great places for fun in the sun!
