You want some shells, a great sunset view, and local feel? This is the beach to come too! There are no easy facilities for a potty break so be mindful of that before you drag all your stuff out on the sand. We rate this a must visit! Give it a 4 since they have no facilities.

The beach can be crowded and parking an issue in the summer months, but most of the time it is quite peaceful. You may want to wear shoes as there are a lot of little shells. Outstanding sunset views, even an occasional green flash

Although along a congested hotel boulevard, this beach is worth a visit. Beautiful walking and relatively calm waters.

This is a very pretty beach, but can get pretty crowded. The sand is very soft and you can walk forever! Parking can be a bit tricky if you don't get there early!

This is a beautiful beach, very wide and expansive with lots of shells but fine, powdery sand. Just loved it!

Continuing to be a pleaser, this beach delivers on views, sand, shelling, dolphins frolicking and so much beauty to walk in. Amazing. Not crowded. Peaceful. Make your day what you want it to be and forget the rest of the world.

Beautiful south beach of Marco Island. There is a nice walk way to the beach. Has a wash off your sandy feet when headed off the beach. Many shells. Great for walking, sunny and sunsets.

We drove from Miami to Naples(Tamiami Trail) and decided to take a little detour and see what Marco Island looks like. We parked our car on South Collier Blvd and then had a walk on this beautiful, clean and safe beach. There are lots of hotels, restaurants, shops etc. nearby, so this is kind of a heart of Marco Island.... More

You can do no better then to spend the Christmas Holidays on Marco Island. The weather was outstanding and the charm of the Island and the locals is worth going back.
