Marco Island is a peaceful, quiet haven in June. Beautiful beach, many shelling opportunities, good restaurants to chose from, friendly people, great resorts, we love the calm of it all!

Lovely soft white sand beach with lots of shells to comb through. Beautiful, warm Gulf water to swim in. Fishing off the jetty. Plenty of dining options around.

Nice, quiet, clear water, white sands. South Beach is my favorite place in all Marco Island. Public Parking is 3 min walk from the beach. I highly recommend it.

Should really have another way to get onto the beach that doesn't involve looking for a parking spot more than a mile away or paying an nonsense amount to park and then still walk up to a half mile. The beach is very pretty though.

This is one of the best beaches on the Island. One problem you may face is a nice spot. Most people will send someone early (6-7am) to grab a spot then go "home" for breakfast and come when y'all ready. The beach is VERY safe!...More

Great place to look for shells. Bring an umbrella and chairs, no rentals available. Parking lot fills up early.

Spring time is great, warm waters and not too hot yet. Just avoid spring break with its hordes of tourists.

Nearby hotels.....I was staying at the Marriott, so it was convenient for me to venture in there or at nearby restaurants on the beach.
