Walked around the lake most days on my visit there in August; love the peace and tranquillity, saw some men fishing from their boats, lovely gentle breeze on the water, some beautiful Swans drifting along and the sweet sound of birds in the trees, very refreshing walk of about km, my favourite spot.

We enjoyed walking the most. Walk around Emy Lake the village of Emyvale and do not miss a chance to walk the Giant's Causeway in entirety. It is a couple hours drive from Emy but worth the experience.

This is a picturesque area with a beautiful walkway constructed around the Lake shore. The total distance is almost 3km with a couple of small gradients but mainly flat. There is an abundance of wildlife and flora for those with an interest. Dogs must be on leash which is great and cycling or motor vehicles are not allowed making it... More
