GO GO GO GO GO GO! Get there EARLY to get your cavern tickets, they sell out quick! We got there early, bought tix for a mid morning tour, left and got breakfast, then came back and hiked afterward. Best day ever!

My husband and I went to the Caverns on a Saturday and although the park was packed they did not allow the tours to reach their maximum capacity of 25 people. Our tour probably had about 15 people and there were some small children. We thought that the Caverns were amazing and to see how nature can evolve for such... More

What a great decision we made a few months ago to drive to this park for a spring break adventure this week. Although it was cold and light rain all day we had a terrific day and would go back to explore more trails and maybe camp in warmer weather. I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the caverns.... Their website states no cave tours on Tuesday or Wednesday. I called to see what time the first tour was on Thursday and learned they offered a flashlight tour on Tuesday and Wednesday. They had just started to offer this new tour. We had a great time and out tour guide was great. Bring your own flashlights. They do rent... More

Experience the caverns up close and personal! A guided tour consists of 25 people led by an educated park ranger. Purchase tickets EARLY as they sell out quick! We were there by 8:45am and our tour left at 9:15am. Cost is $8 per adult and $5 for children. A little disappointed that you can't touch anything in the caverns.

This was our first time of in our new 31 foot travel trailer. Some of the spaces were a little tight for larger Riggs and not as level as they should be. We didn't use their restroom facilities, because we had full hookups. The park itself was very nice and the caves were amazing! The temperature in December was mild,... More

Florida caverns is wonderful for a great day trip to experience nature's wonders underground. Lots of great formations made even more special by our tour guide. Our guide today was Cory (a volunteer vs a park ranger). She made the cavern tour interesting and fun, perhaps elevating the tour from a 4 star to a 5 star experience. Having been... More

My wife and I visited the caverns as part of a multi-day, multi-destination get away. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and spent the night in the campground. The lots were nice and the bathhouse was clean and orderly. The following day, we did the caverns tour and then hiked the "bluff trail" afterward. Both were well worth the time (about... More

We had a great time here. The cave trail is easy, other than having to stoop through 4 foot high sections. Beautiful place..great for kids. Saw some bats in the cave.

Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday, because the experience is so much better! We did a flashlight only tour, so you are in almost complete darkness. You should definitely plan on wearing tennis shoes. Our guide was exceptional! Her knowledge and ability to point out the interesting stalactites/stalagmites with a bit of flair was awesome. We even saw a bat... More
