Very fun spot to take a walk or ride around the wetlands, you will see many alligators, some beautiful birds and ducks, native to Florida

Would have given this a 5 but the last time I was there that had stopped vehicle access and you had to walk through. Walking is not the way to see this. There are lots of gators walking and swimming around, not to mention snakes....More

As a Melbourne resident, I've been here many times to show out-of-state visitors some alligators. I've also gone alone or with a friend to walk the dirt roads around the wetlands. It's quiet, peaceful, and you can be guaranteed to see several Florida native birds....More

Location was a little tricky to find but a local helped us out. This wetland is different as you can drive your car all over it on the very nice paths. So if you are limited on your mobility or sensitive to heat this is...More

We took our 4 kids 8-13 and they enjoyed trying to find things that others might not have found. We didn't see alligators like others have posted, but it was midday in the middle of July, if I were a gator I'd be hiding under...More

Alligators are always there but not always visible. Depends on time of year, air and water temperature. Sunny days when water is cooler the siting are more numerous.
