Have a lot educational displays for kids and adults) shows a lot of different turtles , can purchase sea turtle walk but check for dates I think it is only during June and July.

Great local educational experience that is a fun day trip. There is a great beach to the left of the building with bathroom facilities...nothing fancy but available in an emergency. Be sure to visit and support the work the organization does for our sea turtles....More

It is a bit small, but we learned a lot about Turtles and the films shown are very well made and up to date. Really enjoyed the visit!

When we visited it was the time for turtle to lay their eggs and the people from Port D Hiver provides with special flashlights that will allow you to see the turtles but not to disturb their natural process.

I lived in the area for 18 years and loved the sea turtles. I ran on the beach every morning and several times came upon sea turtles returning from the nest. Once I found hatchlings marching to the sea.

sorry got this too late, they did release 2 large Loggerheads this morning 7am to 9am It's FREE,there will be more, probably in Sept.
