The spirited Cuban neighborhood of Miami where the sights, sounds and smells are intoxicating. Be sure to sample a traditional Cuban meal or grab a quick sandwich cubano and some empanadas at any of the walk up counters.

Cigar shops, tourist souvenirs and great food line the main street of Little Havana. We felt like we were transported into a different culture far away from our normal daily life.

Hubby and I enjoyed ourselves wandering up and down 'Calle Ocho' Not having visited Cuba felt like we could get a small taste for what it might be like. It was bright and colourful and there are mojito's for miles!!! Stop in at the Ball...More

Little Havana is a Cuban neighborhood located west of Downtown Miami. Home to great bars, restaurants and the culture that makes Cuban's unique. A must visit.

No wonder we had heard of Little Havana as the cultural center of Miami. We loved the vibrant atmosphere with great food, Latino culture & heritage and art everywhere. This place made us feel alive - even though we are quite solemn tourists. The best...More

It's all in the title. There are of course numerous cigar shops but they are magnificent. The restaurants and bars are great, a bit pricey but there you go. The ball and chain is a great bar and I'll review this separately.

Stopped here briefly as part of a tour of Miami. Interesting sight - cigar shops; distinctive outdoor paintings and plenty of Cuban restaurants. Wish we had time for a longer stay to explore the area and definitely worth spending a few hours.

We went to Little Havana at night. It was lit up with lights and people outside strolling, eating and bar hopping. It's a nice place to sight see.

would this be a good visit with kids (10&12)? Is the night life strictly "club" like or is it family friendly?

I think you can, but the best way to get about (we found) was to buy a 48 hour ticket for one of the tour bus companies. We think they are the tops because you can use them as much as you like and they are an ideal way to... More

We parked in the heart of Little Havana on the main drag. Meters weren't that expensive but I did see free parking on side streets
