ZWF Miami is the only zoo in South Florida with as many animal encounters. We carry more than 20 of exotic species at our facility with many available for interactive activities involving our guests. The five acre zoo houses everything from domestic animals and primates to large predatory birds and mammals. Some of our popular selection of exotic zoo animals are Gibbon Apes, Sloths, Lemurs, owls, snakes, Anteater, Lions, Snow Leopards, and mischievous Capuchin monkeys - like those used in many movies. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation offers intimate tours and private encounters by appointment. Contact us to schedule a special tour with our exotic animals! It's an experience you will never forget. Tours must be prepaid and booked in advance in order to guarantee your desired date and time. DIRECTIONS: Please use these directions. Shane and I would like to give the office ladies a huge THANK YOU 10 million times over, they went above and beyond to help us get onto our 5pm tour. The very 1st thing I can say about making sure you are on time for your tour is if you are driving from Miami beach to ZWF make sure... More

My boyfriend and I are huge animal lovers so our very intimate tour (me, him and Kyle our guide). We enjoyed the package second from the bottom (I think it included almost all animals). One of my favorite parts was with the 4 week old baby gibbons followed by the baby tiger but my heart was destined and fell for... More

Visited Miami in March and came across this amazing wildlife sanctuary for these beautiful animals. Andrea and Katie were our guides and had a lot of info about the animals. This was a fun experience seeing different animals and the best part was getting to play with the tiger cub and taking photos/videos. If you have time and transportation from... More

This place is heaven on earth for animal-lovers! The Staff really cares about its animals. You get to interact with tons of different animals. The price is worth a lifetime in unforgettable memories. I was told about this place from friends in London. I booked the tickets before flying to Miami. What they sell you on the website and make you believe you will see are not the same as to what you actually do get the chance to do/see. You go around with a large group of people and I paid £150... We actually visited in December 2014 but I am behind in my reviews! This was an outstanding, well run sanctuary for exotic animals where you can actually interact and enjoy the animals. The groups are small to give full attention to each visitor, allowing for questions and much more time with the animals than you would get at a zoo.... More

We went as a group of six adults on the last general tour at 6 pm. We had the place to ourselves which was great! We followed our tour guide (name) around the facility hearing each story for each animal whether they were given from other zoos or taken from people who thought having an exotic animal was a good... In our one week family trip to Miami we decided to visit the ZWF for a different experience with animals. Tickets are more expensive than going to the zoo, but I can say it's worth it, even for the basic general tour. The basic tour allows you to interact with some animals like monkey, owls, snakes, turtle, alligator, fox, and... More

After weeks traveling for work finally I have the time to spend with my family and decide to The Wildlife Foundation, a wonderful place to stay with the family.
