Our professional airboat guides will take you on a personalized, educational airboat tour covering approximately 9 miles of this unique environment. We first go into the vast open saw grass where you will see why the Everglades are called the "River of Grass"! You will travel by Airboat through a Hardwood Hammock (a small island of solid ground in the "river of grass"), into the Everglades National Park stopping at alligator holes and seeing the abundance of 'glades wildlife. See the Purple Gallanule voted the most colorful bird in Florida and the endangered Everglade Snail Kite as well as herons, grackles, turtles, raccoons and other Everglades residents! The Everglades are a truly unique and vibrant environment which you can only experience first hand! Unless you brought your hip waders, a private airboat tour is the best way to see it! (And much drier, too!) After this fascinating and educational airboat tour, relax and enjoy a taste of 'Down Home' cooking, Everglades-style. The Coopertown Restaurant offers such delicacies as frog legs, 'gator tail, catfish and more! All served in a friendly country manner that is distinctly "Floridian". "Belly up" to the bar and meet the folks of Coopertown! Learn some of the fascinating history of the area, and check out the guest book to see who else has passed through and enjoyed a ride on a Coopertown Airboat! Take a closer look at these fascinating creatures in our Alligator Exhibit! What a cute little guy! Popular enough to have a college mascot named for it! A ride on an airboat is the best way to Check out the rest of the gator population in Coopertown

This might be interesting to individuals who have never seen an alligator. As for the rest of us, read on: Filthy bathrooms- Port o John trailer could be smelled from the parking lot. Once inside them 2 stalls were closed. Of the remaining two one...More

We first visited here in 2010 with family members who enjoyed the ride. Back again twice in 2017. We saw lots of alligators when we went out on the airboat mid morning but when we came back a week later and did an afternoon ride...More

Let me start off by saying I've never left a review before. I read a lot of reviews and usually take the bad ones with a grain of salt. Some people cannot be pleased, but this was not the case. We are not picky, hard...More

The restaurant was ridiculous. I'd read reviews about the pricy food, and I should have heeded the warning. VERY expensive for what you get and the food is average at best. You'd be better off stopping for lunch/dinner before you get there. I'd give the...More

While taking the airboat ride our van was broken into and several of us were robbed of cash and credit cards. They immediately used one of the credit cards in a Chilis in Miami. The business should provide a more secure parking area. The thief/s...More

Pros: If you want to have an air boat ride experience and see a lot of alligators, this is the trip for you. Cons: Very little "learning" occurs on this trip. You don't learn about the other animals along the way or the vegetation. All...More

Thanks to our friendly, funny Liverpudlian tour guide for the most unbelievable trip. We never thought we'd see so many gators! The trip will last a lifetime in our memories. Unbelievable value for money at $23 pp.

I would not recommend infants on the boats. They are quite noisy and affect their ears. they move quite fast and jerky at times. Even small children may have a problem. No seat belts either.
I was wondering if it's very bumpy ride. I get motion sickness , do you think this ride would be ok for me?

Hi- The ride is actually very smooth. The boat glides over the top of the water2which allows it to go over the grasses. The operator did spin the boat slightly so I do t know how that would affect you. Maybe talking to the... More
