People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.

Fun all day except early morning from the looks of it. Fun to people watch n soak in vibe. We stayed v near the beach front. It was more expensive but also enabled us to have more time to explore.

Hood to relax and enjoy the sun. There are rental to enjoy better. Some water sports rentAls as well. A little too pricy when compare to other beaches.

Crowded, interesting crowds but for a limited time - i.e - an hour's stroll - many restaurants with average food but views of the passing crowd

South beach is a great place to visit. Great beaches and place to have fun. Nightlife is just there, lots of restaurants to choose where to eat and have a great time.

Early afternoon is calm and walking is easy -- able to see the architecture without too much distraction. The beach is wide and the ocean looked nice. Did not do an official tour but went to the art deco welcome center and bought a pamphlet...More

Great beach and relaxed scene, perfect location to get away from a harsh Canadian winter. Beware of hotels on the strip, most are very old and with terrible facilities, best to stay in larger well known hotels.

South Beach is the number one p;lace to people watch. Life there is as vibrant as it gets, young, old, family, couples, bikes, skateboards, bodybuilders, volleyball, its all there. Beautiful beach with white sand and iconic art deco lifeguard stations.

This is a fantastic stretch of beach, popular with joggers and walkers in the early morning to see the sunrise, excellent facilities during the day with loungers and umbrellas available to rent. There is a high presence of lifeguards, and the public toilets/washrooms/restrooms are excellent...More

SLS hotel has great parties, i would email this hotel and few other party venues 1-2 months before and get tickets to 1 venue at least : they usually sell out quickly !
