Visited our grandchildren and we asked for a place to see! Off we went. There are two geocaches in the park as well. Lots of history to see and read the signs as you walk the boardwalks way in both directions, they loop back. We walked past the board walk and took the green trail first. Not stroller friendly there,... More

Wonderful Historic park! What would be more appealing is to see it rebuilt to the original state! I would like to see the mill in working order and producing! There are many historic mills producing at this moment! This is a mind opening area for children to see first hand how their environment has benefited from the pioneers endeavors .... More

The little museum was fascinating with the story of the local business history (timber and agriculture). I have been more than once, having both guided and non-guided walks through the wooded area along the creek. It is a good place to just enjoy a quiet time with nature or to learn about history.

This is a fun and unusual place to go with the children. They have great guides, and the history of the area is very interesting.

Saw the Mill on Tripadvisor and decided to go. Nice interpretive center, and we were offered a personal tour. We've entrain the tour and learned so much. Well worth the 2 hours or do we spent there.

I've only visited once but it was a pleasant experience. The trails were well maintained and marked and also very scenic.

This is a gem of a place in an area you wouldn't see if you didn't look for it. I found out about it through the benefactors of the Kiosk information system, one of those handy things where you push a button and it explains what you are looking at. (Sadly both times I visited the system wasn't working). But... More

My husband and I saw a sign and visited this place on a whim. Don't make the mistake we did~ VISIT THE INFORMATION CENTER/MUSEUM FIRST so you can get a map for your self-guided tour of the vast grounds. We walked the trail first and then visited the welcome center/museum. There isn't much to see of the original structures of... More
