After a very dry winter I went to the Sanctuary. There was almost absolutely nothing to see, no wild life. Everything was dried up. The only thing we saw was vultures, gross. One alligator in a dried up pond.
Nice Swamp Sanctuary walking brings and just pay for parking easy walking from the parking lot throughout the park area- hot in the summer.

We were hoping to see more wild life! We went around 2pm and saw 1 gator, 1 deer, 1 bird, 1 giant grasshopper!
Got to see lots of alligators in their natural habitat. The birds are beautiful. Be sure to take your water as the boardwalk is long and your bug spray.
