A quite enjoyable alternative to a more congested 5th Avenue but, yet, a real Naples experience nevertheless. The ability to walk several blocks in different directions allows one to experience the charm of old Naples: the neighborhoods, architecture, the famous pier and beach and much more. Restaurants and boutiques galore. A fun time to spend a couple of hours. TIP:... More

This wonderfully chic yet welcoming part of Naples is less congested than 5th Avenue but at least as interesting. There are many upscale stores, boutiques, and art galleries, but also a plethora of restaurants, including some of the best in the area --- among them Mediterrano and Campiello.

Finding a parking place can often be a challenge when shopping in a small boutique shopping area. Luckily, some of the stores had their own parking lots behind their buildings. Third Street South was a great place to walk, browse, shop, and eat with many choices available. It's a good place to bring out of town visitors. The area had... More

Shops & restaurants - see how the better 1% lives.....nice ambience, we didn't eat there but plenty to choose from and plenty of outdoor opportunities to eat. We went in the mid morning, and found adequate free parking. That lot did fill up by afternoon and it looked like parking would be difficult. Also nearby is Naples pier - you... More

4 blocks of wonderful restaurants and boutiques. By day, a lovely stroll, by night a happening spot. In contract to 5th avenue, this is a place to relax and leisurely nibble on wonderful entrees.

It's surely something you shouldn't miss out on. There are so many nice shops, excellent restaurants, or simply take a stroll. I wish there were more parking areas available. It's worth your while!

This area is tops in my book. It's a hop and a skip from the shops and restaurants on 5th- and way less crowded. I love it here

One of the two main shopping areas of Old Naples, 3rd street has some very good restaurants (with lots of outside tables), and a very nice farmer's market in season.

Love strolling 3rd street and enjoying the bars and restaurants and shops. I wish the plaza could reopen. So sad.
