Great Nat'l Park to visit. The Turtle Mound is a great place to start as the view is magnificent. You're only 50 feet high but every thing around is sea level, views include pelicans flying at eye level and dolphins jumping below. Amazing to think...More

Only reason I am not giving excellent rating is we went to the visitor center which is very nice, had an informative video about the park, but I asked the lady at desk which parking spot was best to go to the beach, she said...More

A quiet place to look at the views and imagine the past. The mosquitos are plentiful so spray down. Platforms take you through the natural preserve along the waterway.

It's off the beaten path but what a cool place to walk and take in the view, the wooden walkway is thru trees and a forest like setting, listen to the sounds of the wild,,

We went out on a pontoon boat with a volunteer naturalist. Unfortunately he was soft spoken, so we couldn't hear him. He tried using a microphone system, but that was broken. Wish they offered more programs there.

We spent the day visiting all of the historic sites, then enjoyed a swim in the Atlantic Ocean. Restrooms are clean and available thru-out the park. Park rangers were on patrol and provide a safe visit without rowdiness. A great visit.

This was a great off-the-beaten-path stop on our way home to NC from FL. I wanted our kids to get a taste for an archaeological site and the natural beauty of a national park. The views from the top of the mound are breathtaking. It's...More

We travelled to the National Seashore several times a day and there is always something new to see. We especially enjoyed the wildlife that included, turtles, dolphin, pelicans, manatee and all kinds of wild birds.
