The two hour pontoon boat tour of the Indian River Lagoon was well worth the price with both a naturalist and a well informed boat captain pointing out marine and wildlife while giving a running commentary on the sightings. Even though we live here and have been on a lagoon boat tour previously, we learned a great deal (and saw... More

My husband and I vacationed in New Smyrna Beach last year and looking for something different tp do, we came upon Marine Discovery Center. This is really a cool thing to do for a couple hours in the afternoon. You cruise around in a boat in the intercoastal waters and learn about local marine life, plants and learn some things... More

I had not visited this attraction in years, but went this past summer. The day we went was incredibly hot, so the shaded park and walkways were a welcomed relief. I went with a young teen anticipating she might get bored, Not so! She enjoyed everything about the visit--even the great gift shop. Want a few hours away from the... More

The center itself is not much to see, but it is the place you must register for their boat trips. We found the trip to be very worth while. They really tried to make sure we saw all the wild life that there was in the area including many, many dolphins. It was not just a "sightseeing" trip, but a very... More

I went on the 2 hour guided kayak tour that leaves at 10 am. Very relaxing and enjoyable. I was the only one signed up for that timeslot, so I got a private tour. The gentlemen that was the guide was great. Very knowledgeable about the local plant, bird, and sea life. This was only my second time in a... More
