This park occupies the entire tip of the peninsula and is a jewel saved by whoever had the foresight to save it. It's a gorgeous, natural seaside park with a fantastic boardwalk and pristine beaches. I was thinking just how awful it would have been...More

Compared to the "regular" beach with all the cars driving around and people going crazy, we were looking for a quiet and relaxed alternative in NSB! We found it here at the northern end of the Smyrna Dunes Park! The entrance is 10$ and worth...More

Everyone said what a wonderful place this was for dogs so we went. It's $10 day or $20 for an annal pass. We asked for the pass and was told we couldn't get it unless we were from Florida. Since we are, she agreed to...More

Walking here at sunrise is an unbelievable experience. Along with the most beautiful sunrises, you can meet vacationers from Canada, Europe, Australia, South America walking their dogs, bicycling and surfing. The park is undergoing a major renovation and there is a lot of construction activity...More

Smyrna Dunes Park is a wide open and dog-friendly beach. The sand is clean and the park is almost never crowded. There is plenty of space for kids to play, SUP, and have your pup play alongside. Watch the currents in the inlet, but fine...More

This beach park area isn't too crowded. It makes for a very stroll at sunset. We noticed that it's fairly family-friendly as well.

A very quiet area. Not many people. Something that's away from the beaten path. We went for a few hours and had to leave because of rain and storms

Don't think you can use it. But, after 5 p.m. the park is free. If you are staying for more than 2 days and want to go with the dogs during the day. Buy the pass. You can go in and out of the park as many times during the... More

Unfortunately, the boardwalk is not continuous. There is a short stretch between the doggie beach boardwalk and the boardwalk from the parking lot that crosses the sandy foot path. A distance, I'd guess, of 25-30 feet.
