Driving up to the park you see four picnic benches under a roof and an old, weathered, seemingly unoccupied building. That's it. But take a few minutes to park in one of the few parking spots and explore. Fifteen minutes tops to stroll down a short sand path to a fishing dock, head back and take the .5 mile wide,... More

I used to live down the street from here and would would visit this place almost daily. Great short trail to walk and the dock is a beautiful, relaxing place to enjoy a sunset or fish. Can be a great place to socialize with others in the area. Can launch small boats and SUPs.

Don't expect much, and you will enjoy the view. There is a short sandy trail to the water front floating dock with a bench for two to enjoy the view. There is another trail left of the building that has flora and fauna information. This whole trip is complete in 30 minutes or less. There were lots of fiddle crabs... More

I took a boat ride in this lagoon and it was so nice! There are so many birds and so many dolphins in this lagoon that I felt blessed to see so many of them in such a short period of time. I only spent three hours there but it was a very rich and unique experience. I loved everything... More

Was driving around NSB and I found this little park, the park has a concrete trail that has information signs along the trail. A dirt trail takes you to a pier along the river.

I stumbled upon this park while riding my bike. It is little off the beaten track but offers a quite respite from the hustle bustle of the NSB main drag. The concrete pathway is well marked with many interpretive signs that tell the story of the area. Well worth a trip.
