Perfect Florida beach town

So many little shops and restaurants. Very authentic Florida feel...not a chain store or restaurant in site! Wonderful beach, friendly people.

But didn't find parking to be a problem at all, and we always parked for free. Bike week may have made it easier slightly, but it was never a problem. Park and walk a couple blocks to beach, shopping and some good resturants,,,especially CAFE VERDE, a must in NSB.

You can still drive on the beach. You can see Daytona in the distance. Warm waters for march! Soft white sand and great boardwalk of the dunes

Lived on this beach for a year. Beautiful sunrises. Also sunsets across the intercoastal. Sometimes humpback whales come in shore. Little foot traffic. Surf fishing. Surfing, sailing, fishing, and a nice beach. You can drive your car in certain sections. Importantly, there are beach bars and eateries on the beach or close to it. Also the intercoastal is close by... More

The inlet park at the end of New Smyrna is right on the ocean. Such a beautiful and tranquil setting early in the morning. As the day progresses beach goers, boaters and surfers will all come out to enjoy the ocean and the sand

Having owned a rental home by Disney for 13 years my husband and I finally went for a day trip to the beach! We were advised by a local that Daytona would be crowded with kids on Spring Break and to try the beach that is better for families. We were impressed that for $10 we could park our car... More

We visited this east coast beach town for the day. For $10 you can park at 27th where there is a pavilion and restrooms or drive onto the beach. The beach is hard packed, wide at low tide and clean. There is more seaweed than shells this time of year but the beach is great for walking, fishing, driving and... More
