Enjoy a picnic at the Foot of the trail. Please do not bring food on the walk. The walking path is over one mile one-way connecting John Sims Parkway to College Blvd. You will seed tons of turtles and different birds. You might even see a owl or snake. Don't worry because the walk way is over 5 foot above... More

Very nice walk along the bridge and there are great areas for swimming and such. No bathrooms on the walk, all those I believe are at the parking lot. It gets very busy during the Summer so if you want to go swimming, get there early. Lovely photo ops, it's a long walk to the end and there are seats... More

You will walk along a boardwalk that winds through the woods and river. We had our young grandsons. The walk took about an hour there are various places to sit and rest. Had we known we would have worn our bathing suits as there are areas to jump off the dock into a clean river. There is a ramp to... More

I've been swimming in Turkey Creek since i was a kid and the improvements that have been done to make it a family friendly nature trail are great. It's a mile walk one way and there are informative plaques posted along the way about the Florida flora and fauna.

If interested in "getting away from it all" yet staying in town for a walk...this should be your go2 place! Great boardwalk, easy strolling, safe, and outdoorsy...no downside here to getting in a 2 mile roundtrip walkabout. The creek itself is accessible for canoes, kayaks, tubing, or swimming. If tubing/swimming/floating, realize the water is spring-fed so the temperature is fairly... More

Hosted a large group at the nearby Comfort Suites. They walked to Turkey Creek every morning for a walk or jog. They loved it, very relaxing and peaceful. About a mile long from start to finish, so 2 miles round trip.

I headed out of my motel this morning figuring I would just go on an urban hike and I literally stumbled across this a block from my hotel! What a delight!! Beautiful boardwalk and trail over wetlands and through the forest. So happy I found this!

I am overweight and have tried several exercise programs in my life but by far this is the best all around path to good health ( hmmm I like that) the raised walking path winds through a scenic area where you sometimes see wildlife. The grounds staff is always present, friendly and is constantly focused on keeping the walking path... More

Love to float down turkey creek on pool noodles. Fun. Water is cold but in the summer it feels great. If you don't want to get wet. You can walk the boardwalk to see a large portion of the creek and nature.
