"Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

We love Boardwalk Villas for the Boardwalk (restaurants, shops, and people watching) and that it is walking distance to Hollywood Studios and the rear entrance of Epcot. Ask for a Boardwalk view and your balcony will overlook the boardwalk. Highly recommended for families of all...More

I stayed at Boardwalk Villas on my recent trip. I found myself leaving the parks early in the evenings to enjoy the Boardwalk, whether it be to dine, watch the nightly entertainment or just people watch. It was very relaxing.

The boardwalk is supposed to be a nod to Atlantic City. While the effort is nice, it lacks in allot of ways. However, it is exactly what Disney wants it to be which is a fun place that entertains in different ways. Renting bicycles, ESPN...More

We enjoyed the boardwalk, but were unable to eat at our two choices for restaurants because we did not have a reservation. We ate pizza on the boardwalk and it was fine. We enjoyed walking around and the outdoor entertainment.

Not much to do. Seemed more like a place to go when looking for the night life. Some clubs and music halls.

Sort of disappointing compared w/ the entire park. Some shops and an eatery or two and that's it. Best part it was definitely not crowded.

No food court here. The Boardwalk itself has many table service options, along with a walk up pizza window, ice cream shop and a carnival style food stand. World showcase is also a short walk away with its many food options... More
