We were in Orlando over the Holidays and wanted something other than Disney to take my elderly mother. We rented her a walker and went to Harry P. Leu Gardens. A wedding was being held in one area and we were enchanted. The beauty of the gardens in December is a true treasure and can't wait to visit during other... More

You can.. if you start looking up between the tree leaves. Amazing variety of tropical plants in a nicely laid big garden. Extremely quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to wander around without any worry. If you have a few hours in Orlando, before catching your plane, this place is definitely worth a visit.

The gardens are small and welcoming. It is located in a resdidential area and cn be easily overlooked. Plan to visit when the temperatures are nt high.

I enjoyed my trip to the gardens. The grounds were lovely. There were areas for gardeners, and areas of historic interest, like the Leu house. There were quite a few butterflies, even outside the butterfly garden and we has some exciting wildlife sightings, like of an owl.

Love the gardens (and kids story time if they still do it is excellent). So many places to explore. I especially move the rose garden. It is much more enjoyable to go when it is cool, or at least on a cloudy day in the morning.

The gardens are located in Orlando past the science and museum area. It is a surprising little gem to find that makes you feel as if you have stepped into a tropical oasis. Equally enjoyable is the fact that is incredibly close to many delicious Asian restaurants. You can grab a quick bite and bring it into the gardens. Plus,... More

I have an American Horticultural Society membership that gives me reciprocal priviledges at gardens around the country. I have been to many gardens throughout the southeast. Don’t get me wrong – the gardens have some beautiful areas but I found it a bit small. I love to take photos and there were some great photographic areas to shoot around the... More

The gardens here are phenomenal! We kept and manicured. The house is absolutely beautiful, the guides are very knowledgeable, and the history lesson about Mr. & Mrs. Leu as well as the other owners was quite informative. Plan on going back with my kids next March.

This is my third visit to Orlando and shame we missed this place on the two previous visits. It makes a great relaxing alternative to the amusement parks. Gardens are really beautiful and a great setting. It rained heavily while we were there which just seemed to add to the experience, it felt like a rainforest paradise and hardly anyone... More

Leu Gardens is absolutely the best attraction in the city. If you like camelias, roses, palms and other plants, this is the place for you. I go every week and there is always something new in bloom as well as some plant or tree I have never noticed before. A gorgeous place for a stroll whether you are an botanist... More
