The weeks leading up to New Year is crowded. There were several days they closed the park to customers before noon. I suggest you get there earlier.

So, my elderly but spry mother wanted to see the Magic Kingdom....so we spent the day and night and went back the next night!! Where to begin...ah yes, concerning hobbits....no wait... First, if you drive, you park, jump on a tram, then a monorail, then go through some security, and you're in!! Its easy!! We arrived early afternoon, ate lunch... More

What is so amazing is the minute you walk thru that gate how much of a kid you turn into as an adult! It whisks you away to all things happy and fun; as it says on Splash Mountain, it is "Our Laughing Place"! There are activities for kids of all ages!

Magic kingdom at the end of December is not for the faint hearted given the crowds. Waiting endlessly for simple amusement park rides just seems so pointless. Nothing special. It's all marketing hype than real , memorable thrills. If you have small kids then maybe you would have a different view. We actually left the park at midday to take... More

The Magic Kingdom is the best theme park I've ever visited. I've been visiting for almost 20 years now, and it's still just as exciting as the first time. There is something for everyone here.

I didn't expect my girls to love Magic Kingdom as much as they did. I thought the attractions would be to "young" for them. I was wrong. Not only did they love the overall experience (and kept going back day after day) they enjoyed carrying around their autograph books and searching for characters and princesses to sign it and take... What is not to love about the MK? Crowds! Everything else just makes MK my happiest place in the world. Meeting Anna and Elsa, Mickey, Cinderella, put smiles on my dd face. 7 dwarfs mine train was a great mild coaster. I'm not a coaster fan, but I conqured my fear.
