Performed by outstanding actors of the Shakespeare Theater Company, this play was incredible! The acting was top notch, the theater (one of three in the complex) was small and intimate, and felt like it was happening in our living room. I jumped more than once from the close action. Set design, lighting and music, as always, was perfect and amazing.... More

Central Florida boasts a nationally acclaimed theater, or to be exact, three of them under one roof. In the old science center, a dedicated group of theater lovers has labored with love to produce world class entertainment right here in Orlando. What used to be Shakespeare in the Park, showing two Shakespeare plays at the Lake Eola Ampitheater each spring... More

Saw West Side Story, our seats were in row B and you could hear the actors breathing. Very intimate setting, no more than 200 seats I think, and the stage is floor level. The production was very good, traditional and respectfully of the history of this production. Everyone there is extremely friendly, from will call to the ushers to the... More

The play is slightly different from the movie, if that sort of thing bothers you... All the acting, dancing and singing was professional. A good-looking and versatile set. My one major complaint is I find the seats horribly uncomfortable, and about the mid-way point, I'm getting backaches, neck ache etc. My husband doesn't seem to have this problem. Sure wish... More

We went to the Opening Night of West Side Story and could not have been more pleased. All seats in this small theater have great views and, even sitting in Row K, we felt like we were right in the action on the stage. Before the play started, we attended a very interesting talk led by the Music Director, the... More

This is such a cool little gem in the city, and a fantastic place to see live theater. We make a habit of visiting every year around Christmas to check out their Christmas related offerings and they are top notch. The cozy theater basically offers everyone in the house the opportunity to see the show from within ten rows of... More

Not a bad seat in the house! The stage is on the floor with the seats rising upwards so you can see the stage from any seat. The plays are performed well, the sets and costumes are made professionally and we love visiting this theater several times a year.

The first year I went to Orlando Shakes, as it is lovingly called, I saw Nicholas Nickolby, & 2 other plays. They were presented in musical style and were quite fun and interactive for the audience. I have also seen Taming of the Shrew & Les Mis for the next season. I have never had a bad seat, always enjoy... More

I went to see Pericles and The Tempest, both were incredible. For a small theater you don't expect such a great production value. The acting, sets, and music are topnotch. I wish I had discovered this theater prior to this season. The small main theater means all seats have great views. The staff is very nice. Parking is the only... More
