Lake Lizzie is kind of a hidden park. There's not really any signs along the way to let people know of its existence. There is an entrance off 192 and one off Midland Dr. The Midland Dr entrance offers better hiking opportunities and you will...More

We randomly visited this conservation area for a quick walk. We took the shorter trail, which led out to the lake. There is a nice area with benches to sit, and man, the frogs are LOUD! There were some others on the trail on horses,...More

We enjoyed a nice hike through this nature reserve. A soft sandy trail far way to other grassy ones. The 2 mile circle is perfect for a short walk or an energy burner for children. Down the street is a small town where you can...More

The preserve is pretty much done since my last review in February 2014. The construction activity is gone. I visit this area 6-10 times per year. I really enjoy the unmarked connecting trails as well as the marked, main trails. There is an Eagle Scout...More

This is a nice park with lots of trails. There are very few people, it is quiet and very natural on the north end. The entrances (south and north) are hard to find. The trailhead maps are somewhat confusing. This all makes for a great...More

I've been out to Lake Lizzie a couple of times! It offers great hiking and it's close to my house. The marsh trail loop at the south entrance is a great trail to take when it's hot! I wouldn't advice doing the Lake Lizzie loop...More

Less than 5 minutes from our house, we bring the horses and go trail riding frequently. We've also brought the dogs before and walked them to the neat wooden platform bridges that go out over the swamps. Very nice, my kids love it - on...More

Lots of soft sand. It is a challenge for even an experienced mountain /trail biker. It's not impossible, but be advised.
