One of the must do rides when you are in Magic Kingdom
Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom has slight differences from the one in Disneyland. It doesn't have the hatbox ghost (I believe he might be added soon), but it does seem to have a room or 2 that are different. The haunted mansion concept is still the same. One nice addition is the picture you get (I think you need to pay for the pic though) at the end of the ride with your ghost hitchhiker. The line area outside also has interactive things. When we went, we did not have Genie + for the day, and it was supposed to be a 45 minute line. It was only about 25. Watch the new movie which has a lot of easter eggs from the ride!

I love this ride so much I proposed in front of the entrance!
This is my favorite ride in Magic Kingdom (also keeping in mind that I haven’t rode Tron yet). I may be biased because this is where I proposed during the Halloween event, so this ride holds a special place in my heart. Been riding this since I was a kid and it’s always been a classic! So spooky and the effects are so well done! Even better during the Halloween event because they’ll have actors in the queue line.

    A Fun and Relaxing Ride
I enjoyed this ride along with most of my family, our youngest daughter was not as much of a fan of the ride as we were. The only issue that we had was that the ride stopped a couple of times and this made the ride not as much fun. Otherwise, It was a great dark ride and is always way to cool down and rest your legs in the Magic Kingdom.

A Classic but Still One of the Best Rides at Disney
Classic Disney attraction that remains one of the best experiences in the park. The attention to detail throughout the ride is incredible and the special effects remain terrific even after all these years. Very young children will likely be frightened and should give it a pass, but older children will do fine. It's spooky rather than scary in a funny and weird way.

    Spooky Good Time
This was one of my favorite rides I went on in Disney World! I loved the interactive queue, story line, music, details, scenes, and atmosphere of the whole ride! Lines can definitely get long. It is definitely worth it.

    Spooky mansion experience
Fun spooky experience in a Haunted Mansion. Visited at dusk so it was quite atmosphere. You go through into a room with optical illusions while a sinister voice talks to you through the speakers. You then progress onto a two-person car for the ride through the mansion and have ghosts appear/join you. The photos are great! Good fun, would return.

    Favorite Magic Kingdom Ride
This is my favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom. The theming is great, but it's fun, not frightening. In the queue you walk through some clever displays, like headstones with funny puns, a hearse attached to an invisible horse, and some objects that seem to be moving by themselves. The cast members try to stay in character. You start out standing with a group of riders in a room and listen to a ghost giving something of an introduction to the haunted house. Then you board a small buggy that seats 2 adults or 2 adults and a child. This buggy takes you around the haunted house. It's a slow dark ride. The different rooms are decorated very well. They're creepy, but in a fun way - it won't give anyone nightmares. The hitchhiking ghosts at the end are also cool. I never miss this ride.

The haunted mansion has been one of our favorite rides over the years. We just visited this January and noticed the haunted mansion was much darker than we remembered. The hallway with the portraits that change when the lightning strikes, now you can only see them when the lightening strikes. In general everything is much darker, too dark. After you come down to the finale cemetery scene and turn right you pass the terrified groundskeeper and his dog who you can barely see
We still love the ride but the extra darkness was a bit disappointing

Suited for most all. This ride reflects on the Disney tradition. Great animation, smooth ride, well organized and a great ride to see their full imagination on display. As a plus, a great ride to try when it's hot. Get a fast pass or expect a 30-60 minute wait in a coverd line.

This is an old favorite that we always ride when we visit the Magic Kingdom. Today (12/16) the line snaked around the Riverboat area (being refurbished and lake is drained). It looked long, but we were in and out in 25 minutes.

The shrinking room is not operational during CoVid - too close quarters. The ride itself seems darker than in years past. Too fast, because we really enjoy this ride. The banquet area and graveyard scenes were lit so we could see and appreciate he spirits. In our cab, ghosts hitchhiked. We could kind of see them.

Hand sanitizers were readily available after the ride. Hope they stay always!

The haunted mansion never disappoints. This year they are celebrating its 50 th birthday so there are a few different surprises throughout the mansion and the park; however, I won’t spoil those for you.
I just thoroughly enjoy it and suggest you tour it and you’ll see why it’s so cool.

The Haunted Mansion is always one of my favorite rides to go on when visiting Magic Kingdom. I think this attraction is Disney at its finest. From the tombstones in the queue to the morose CM's who work the ride, all the little details get you in the spirit of the Haunted Mansion. As for the ride itself, yes it's old, but it is a good length, and I always think it's fun to see which of the hitch hiking ghosts will be in your photo.

I had been waiting about 30 years to get back on this ride. I had been telling my wife and kids about it, and finally, this past summer, the youngest was brave enough to try and go on. He was five - some kids may still be scared in here, as it is a dark ride with lots of ghosts and things. But it is not one that will try and make the kids jump and scream.

Compared to all the other haunted rides at other parks and boardwalks, this one is the best. Its well made, has great animatronics, and is long enough that you don't feel like you have wasted your time in line.

This is a classic ride that has stood the test of time and is my all time fav of ALL Disney rides. Pay attention to the detail in this ride to really appreciate it. The illusions are very simple, but extremely effective - pure engineering genius. If you have one ride to do in the park - this is the one.
