As most folks say, this is an incredibly scenic drive. Wife and I took out the convertible, let the top down and just cruised under the moss-covered trees. Views of the water are nice and we saw a lot of different birds and wildlife along the way. It is a relaxing way to enjoy time with your loved one.

One of our favorite motorcycle rides in the Daytona area. Everything from swampy marshes to roads lined with moss covered trees. Oh, and don't forget the houses along the ride. Everything from quaint beach side cottages to multi million dollar riverside homes. A must do for all bikers.

This is an incredibly scenic drive with water (look for dolphins near the drawbridge) and ancient looking, moss covered trees. It's especially nice on a motorcycle or in a convertible.

So much of Florida has man made footprints all over it. Some good and some not so good. This scenic drive is a lovely tribute to Florida as it was years gone by. Exceptionally pretty at sunset.

We live about 5 miles from The Loop. The west side is generally considered to begin at Granada Boulevard and head north. It is a 2-lane road through a residential neighbor that soon becomes a canopy of old trees framing the road. It continues a dozen miles and you pass the entrance to Tomoka State Park. If you turn to... More

If you enjoy a natural, scenic drive or ride, the Loop will not disappoint. Not many consumer stops (food, convenience stores, etc) along the way but that's part of what makes it so beautiful.

We drove The Loop for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Despite a lot of debris along the sides of the road from the recent hurricane, the natural beauty is still exceptional. There's a short detour on SR A1A where the storm washed out part of the road near the beach, so you may want to take the... More

One of the reasons we moved here was because of this loop. Since hurrican Matthew, clean up is on going but it is such a pretty drive. Taking a kayak or canoe trip is also great along the way. You can pull over & fish or take a walk along a marked trail. Enjoy!

Just so beautiful...and peaceful! I love riding through there. Sometimes it is my peace driving home from work.
