This small riverfront park is at the northwest corner of the Granada Bridge. It's the perfect place to photograph the flowers, the fountain and the grounds that are in front of the Pilgrims Rest Church a historic site of the first Christon wedding in North America. The Ormond Beach Historical Society takes care of it and the gardens welcome weddings... More

A sweet little garden on the Halifax River with historical building Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church. The oldest building in Ormond Beach. Near this site was the first Christian marriage in North America in 1566 between a French Huguenot nobleman and Princess Issena of the Timucan Indian Tribe. A few nice benches and picnic tables to enjoy the nice river... More

A beautiful little garden that is well maintained year round with seasonal flowers and natural floridian flora. The old church is a Quaint building that can be used for small gatherings such as wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, etc. The walking pier that offers great views of the Halifax River and a place to fish is a must.

I enjoyed the gardens and the little house, but behind there is a fishing pier that is built under the bridge going to the beach. What a great idea. Much of the pier is shaded by the bridge and all of this is FREE, a long with a wonderful breeze. They have a bait shop there too, public bathrooms and... More

Not only are the grounds lovely, but the delightful old church there is amazing. Well worth spending a few hours with a friend and perhaps a picnic (or even alone with a good book).

This is a beautiful little garden/park right next to the Halifax River next to and almost under the Bridge. Very peaceful place with a small church. I'm afraid to say I don't know much about the history of the church or the area, but I intend to find out and return again with updated information.

Bailey Riverbridge Gardens is a 2.6 acre serene, riverfront park at the foot of the Granada Bridge on the mainland side of the Halifax River. A scenic fountain and beautiful landscaping are on display in front of the Pilgrims Rest Church, the historic site of the first Christian wedding in North America. The church has been preserved by the Ormond... More

We attended a wedding in the church and it was very beautiful and charming. The gardens out front are manicured to perfection. It is also convent to some great restaurants just a short walk east.

This is park is a beautiful little place. A cute church located right there. Plenty of parking. Walk along the pier under the bridge. Beautiful scenery of the Halifax River.
