This is a beautiful mansion and a wonderful example of living in the "guilded age in America". We spent three wonderful hours there and could have spent more. We took the 2 pm guided tour (about 50 minutes & no extra charge) and then did a self-guided tour using the included audio guides. We learned a lot about the house... More

Well-deserved #1 attraction in Palm Beach, it is just so beautiful and interesting. We love to tour the "grand houses" and the Flagler is unique in that it has so much original furniture and fixtures. Plus, there is a lovely new addition with a restaurant, and Flagler's railroad car, the view from here is outstanding. You can understand why Flagler... More

Built for the man who help found Standard Oil and the East Coast Railroad. This home is literally a palace, full of European art, and it is decadent, gilded, massive, (and very dark). No flash photography allowed, but on a sunny day you can get some nice interior shots. Check out Mr. Flagler's private rail car while you are there... More

Did a self guided tour with the map. Spent an hour walking around. Would recommend visiting. Some very interesting history. Check out the lace room. They have audio tours as well. Most likely requires more than an hour.

This is an interesting look into the early days of development in Florida. There is a nice cafe overlooking the Intracoastal waterway. The house and contents are fascinating so set aside enough time to enjoy it and listen to all the details.

So we came on a group trip here and we weren't disappointed. We had Lisa showing us around who was so knowledgeable and did an amazing job. Best museum experience I've had in 10+ years.

A well maintained and artfully presented authentic presentation of Flagler's winter home! Grounds beautiful. Be sure to check out his private rail car in the adjacent pavilion! Can be done in one to two hours! Worth the admission!

This is a must see if you like historic buildings, fine antiques, and outstanding craftsmanship. The mansion also showcases many of the technological advances for the time period. I took the tour solo with the self guided audio, which is free of charge to use. I picked a great day to go as they were not many people there so... More

There's nothing like this place. Mrs. Flagler was a lucky woman when Henry gifted her this spectacular castle. Walking through you cannot help but imagine the over-the-top parties they hosted there. This building has so much history, and it has been perfectly preserved for everyone to enjoy and explore. A journey, a luxury and a pleasure to visit this museum.
