We stopped here for a picnic lunch on our road trip. There were plenty of tent spots with picnic tables and fire rings. There were kayak rentals, a boat ramp and even a small stage for evening sing-a-longs around the fire. Be sure to make...More

We are fulltimers and generally do not choose campgrounds, mostly resorts, however, Fisheating Creek is exceptional and being right on the river attracted us. First, all the staff, particularly Brooke and Darcy make you feel extremely welcome and are VERY helpful and in a sincere...More

We kayaked today and it was absolutely beautiful. Quiet, peaceful, perfect. Did a little fishing and found a small beach to stop at and hang out. Would recommend!

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the creek and relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings, well maintained. Staff (Darcy/Brooke/Dwayne) was relaxed, friendly, knowledgeable of area and conditions.

We just wanted to camp outside with our kids, 4 families and wanted a safe enough place with plenty of wilderness and the safety of a cabin for the young ones (and some old ones) if they freaked out. This place is absolutely perfect, The...More

First off, this was our 2nd time canoeing F.E. Creek. The first trip, we launched from the base camp. Plenty of people enjoying the creek, but still quite tranquil (except for several idiots--some adults, mostly teenagers--navigating recklessly in their motorboats). Aside from that, we had...More

Jon boat yes; most kayaks no. Fisheating creek shallow enough in spots that prop shaft would be hitting bottom.
